Due to the earlier coming of cold weather this year, NEK team had to schedule and execute urgently the cleanup and further preparation of warehouses at Astrakhan, Elista and Novorossiysk for a winter season. At the covered area the heating system was balanced and commissioned, gates and window frames were lagged with extra heat insulators in order to provide optimal thermal condition. Partial equipment and materials were shifted to the covered area due to the storage conditions recommended by their Manufacturer. Moreover, there was audited open area: covering materials were renewed, cargoes were separated in order to avoid contacting with the surface.
The audit confirmed full readiness of storage facilities for the winter season.
